The Annual World Rhythm Festival is the largest free percussion festival in the world. The 12th annual festival, held in the Spring of 2003, featured more than 80 artists presenting more than 50 participatory teaching workshops and 20 performances highlighting percussive arts from around the world. Offered completely for free to the public, the three day festival is presented by the Seattle World Percussion Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Festival offers something to all age groups, all cultures and all rhythmic traditions. All are welcome to come and learn, grow and play as one.

Come experience the rich and festive musical traditions from around the world - Africa, Caribbean, Brazil, Asia, Europe, Pacific Rim, Middle East and North & South American cultures.

The 13th Annual World Rhythm Festival will be held on May 20-22, 2005, at the Seattle Center!
